If I will "target" more in one of the ZLK bounties, will be this game, for sure.

I dont tried so much, and also dont tried no-warp at st1 and st2, however
I think to be advantage "no-warp" this amount of extra men need to be a great number. I think is high the "risk" of lose lives in this game. However, thank you for the tip.

What exactly means the "XXXX score to the next YYYY" in the bottom part ?

I also need to check how many sub-stages the game have.

Cyvern.
Look for first boss color. It is yellow usually but one time I successfully made green. In HAS inp is green color too.
Where is secret for first boss color?
Is it depend from score?

People at the shmups forums are playing cyvern this week for competition. Maybe there is something about it here:

People on shmups forum are wrong.
I found (as usually :P) what you must do for trigger green 1st boss.
On stage 1 are 3 brown ships which give power and 1 blue ship which give bomb.
You must get big powers (not small powers) from each brown ship and before 1st boss appear you must take bomb from blue ship.
Best (100%) method for get big powers is destroy brown ships with banish.
And remember: you can't lost life otherwise ;)

Nope.

I can ignore all three brown ships and still get the 100,000 bonus for the bomb from the last blue ship, which seems to be necessary to get the green boss.

I think it has something to do with the tanks on the road, but I am not sure.

I know for sure it's not the brown ships.

Yes :)
Show me inp.
Big powers and bomb are the keys. One time more:
1. Must get 3 big powers
2. Must get bomb before boss appear
3. Here is border border-line after which you can't lose life, it's about half way second_brown_ship-big_blue_ship. Best (easiest) if don't lose any life.

Look attachments. All recorded with wolf102, sound off.
In all attchments I played almost identical - destroyed 3 brown ships and blue ship almost only, but:
- in "green attachment" I get 3 big powers from brown ships.
- in "brown attachment" from first brown ship I get 2 small powers, from next two brown ships I get 2 big powers.
- in "ignore attachment" I don't destroy any one brown ship.

I check one thing more. And it depend how many powers you get.
1 big power = 4 small powers.

On stage are 3 brown ships, if you destroy brown ship with banish, it give big power always. Then 3 big powers = 12 small powers.
In attachment inp I get 4 small powers and 2 big powers = 12 small powers and green ship appear.

After correction:
1. Must get 12 small powers (1 big power = 4 small powers) with one life (if you lose life power counter reset to 0).
2. Must get bomb (from blue ship) before boss appear.

11 small powers isn't enough. Watch "11powers" inp.

And one question to John.
Weehawk wrote:still get the 100,000 bonus for the bomb from the last blue ship
How you get 100k for the bomb? Is it trick?
I always get 0 (null) points for the bomb.

Next puzzle.

On screen 'normal' is normal 2nd boss - his color is silver(?). This boss appear almost always for me (99,99999...%). Today 2nd boss surprised me, his color was red and his difficulty is as boss 2-2 (I show him on screen 'red').
Where is key for trigger 2nd boss red? I don't know.
I'm happy that I recorded inp with 2nd boss red. Watch attachment. Recorded with wolf101.

And you are not allowed to use a bomb during the stage, before final boss otherwise he won´t be green.
MAYBE: that is the key to the red boss and end of stage 2?

Oh, yes. Thanks.
Here is inp where I throw bombs on stage1 - brown 1st appear. Wolf101, nosound.

In case anyone was wondering, I am not eligible for my own bounties.

If I make any replays that would have won a bounty, it does not matter. The bounty is still available until someone else submits a recording satisfying the requirements of that bounty.

The game has three different classes, each with five rivers, for a total of 15 different courses. When the player reaches Class 4 the game repeats the classes until the last class of the game: number 6.
90 courses

CYVERN - next correction (more clear I think) and 2nd boss.

1 big power = 4 small powers

--------------------------------------------
How to trigger 1st boss to green color.
Before boss appear you must on one live:
1. get minimum 12 small powers
2. have minimum 3 bombs in stock
--------------------------------------------
How to trigger 2nd boss to red color.
Before boss (big version) appear you must on one live:
1. get minimum 30 small powers
2. have minimum 3 bombs in stock
3. have 4 lives in reserve
--------------------------------------------

OK. Next corrections, hehe.
I found something when I work on trigger boss 2-1.
Bosses forms and enemies level depend from:
1. lives in reserve
2. bombs in stock
3. power

I use cheat and manipulate these values.
First what I can say:
1. maximum bomb capacity is 8
2. maximum power (small powers) is 31
3. I don't know what is maximum lives, I know that counter is minimum 24 bit.

I don't know (exactly) what is function which count difficulty level.
I write why I notice. Some values are higher than permissible, I change these in cheats for test only.
Minimums for trigger 1st boss to green color:
li - lives in reserve
bo - bombs in stock
po - my power (small powers counter)

Code: Select all

li bo po
 5 0 0
 2 3 12
 1 3 13
 1 2 16
 1 1 17
 0 7 5
 4 3 0
 3 6 0
 4 3 0
 0 9 0
 4 2 2
 4 1 4
 0 0 17
 0 8 2
 3 5 2
 2 6 6
 1 6 7
Minimums for trigger 2nd boss to red color:

Code: Select all

li bo po
 3 3 30
 2 3 47
 3 2 44
 0 0 53
 1 1 52
 1 0 52
 0 1 52
 0 2 50
 2 0 52
 1 2 50
 2 1 51
 2 2 49
Compare some values for 1st green boss and 2nd red boss:
p1 - power before 1st boss
p2 - power before 2nd boss

Code: Select all

li bo p1 p2
 3 3 7 30
 2 3 12 47
 3 2 9 44
 0 0 17 53
 1 1 17 52
 1 0 17 52
 0 1 17 52
 0 2 14 50
 2 0 17 52
 1 2 15 50
 2 1 16 51
 2 2 14 49
Now I must found function which will show me how CPU count difficulty level.
