Requirments to run Cruis'n USA at a playable speed.

At another board which I am a member a question on Cruis'n USA is posted and no one there can seem to help the guy. It seems as if he is getting terribly slow game speed. I also have this problem, but I know why ( I am running it on a 600 Mgz AMD Athalon). He claims to have a much faster system.

I also couldn't find any scores for this game posted. Is this because no one can get it running at a decent speed?

I figured that if anyone would have the answer to these questions they would most likely be a member of MARP. So....any suggestions/soulutions?

There were some threads posted relating to this game a while ago.

4GHz is a rough guesstimate as to the required CPU speed needed for the Crusin' games. Try disabling sound, and auto frameskip to speed it up a bit.

Well my 2.67Ghz runs it at like 3fps without sound...

Disable automatic frameskipping. Should bring it up to around 20-30fps.
