Lode Runner - The Dig fight (Ver A/B) Japan - Second Poll

With regard to Phil Lamat's reply, quoted below, I have decided to open another Poll. Phil's message confirmed that each course contains different levels and that scoring shouldn't just be the level reached - as this makes it too easy to get to 1st place.

This poll will allow people to vote for a split on all 7 levels with scoring by time remaining to complete the levels as described in Phil's posting.

Please either vote for this scoring method, or vote to reject it.
In loderndf, you have 7 courses and ALL LEVELS ARE DIFFERENT in each course :
a-6levels (diff=1)
b-6levels (diff=2)
a-12levels (diff=3)
b-12levels (diff=4)
a-12 other levels (diff=5)
b-12 other levels (diff=6)
? (diff=7)

I think it deserves a split in 7 entries because of seven very different courses
, and apply this scoring :
1000x(nb levels completed) + time remaining in seconds at the end of last stage completed

Maybe we should also discuss a bonus for levels completed without entrapping and/or without killing ?
Thanks,
Kranser.

makes sense to me, it would be nice to see a few more uploads from people on these games using different courses, competition is a good thing.

Ok, voting over.

I think this game now requires a split.

OK, I'll make the split, but only for the first 4 difficulty levels. This is because levels 5-7 are not selectable on the first credit. :P

Yes they are ...
But I don't know why, you have to hit the UP key several between 4 & 5

Phil, right you are -- this is strange! :?

To clarify I've changed the names to Game 1 - Game 7

Good work, Pat ...
Don't forget to also split "loderdfa"

Scoring for each stage complete = 1000-(time record in seconds) works great ! I've edited rules and there you've a link to upload my xls file which calculate the score automatically

C'est different avec loderdfa phil.
Il te donne pas le "record", ou alors j'ai mal vu...

Merde ! Tu as raison Stéphane ...
la suite en anglais pour que tout le monde en profite :

Blost is right ; loderdfa is different than loderndf ...

For loderndf, we couldn't use a scoring with time left because a good player always maximize it to 6 minutes ; so I found a scoring with the time "records" displayed by the game which seems to work fine

For loderdfa, no "time records" displayed ; but also it is quite impossible to maximize timer to 6 minutes like in loderndf ; so for this one we can use a scoring based on time left

Score would be :
(number of last level complete)x1000 + (time left in seconds at the end of the last level complete)

I'm uploading an input showing what I mean

Pat, I've studied the game a little more, splits would be :
g1 (3 rounds only)
g2a
g2b
g2c
g2d
g2e
g2f
g3

INFO :
bonus for completing a level has been increased to 10000 instead of 1000 .... why ? check the very good SKL's input on loderndf-g5 : he finishes the game but with the only 1000 bonus he got more than 18'00 for finishing the last level which gives a negative score (!)

So bonus = 10000 is better
