Ghouls and Ghosts rules?

I was just wondering, what ended up being the written rules for the game in the end of all the debate and polls on the old message boards? Looking thru it I can't seem to find it.
Also, does anyone have a link to MKL's old 2M+ recording?

It doesn't seem to come to a proper conclusion though, but I'm certain that a conclusion was made tha you couldn't repeat the last round more than twice. (If you did, the extra points were deducted).
Ghouls'n Ghosts doesn't have any "Special Rules" to this effect though! I wonder why no special rules were made?!

The special rules can be found in the news of Wednesday 6th February 2002. Someone should add a link to them near the scores (as usual), thanks.
