Scoring? Straight score, or difference in score. In this game, the only good defense is a good offense. My suggestion is difference in score.

Why not : 10x(goals for) - goals against ?
It's already like that on Marp for games as otwalls or spiker, and IMO it is the best scoring

Yes, and the possibilty of a lot of draws is not that great using this method. Can a poll be restarted with more options?

Because it gives more credit for offense than defense. IMHO, that's bad. Both should be equal.

I thought these were sufficient because there is only offense. Defense means getting your hands on the ball and trying to score.

No, defense is your ability to prevent your opponent from scoring. Under that system, a 10-11 loss would be worth than a 1-0 win.

Come on Roncli. We are talking about a little unrealistic game here. This is not Baseball. That scoring system was more or less taking in use to prevent a lot of ties on the highscore table. If we go by goals scored or goal difference which is even worse, we see a lot of these ties. I think that should be stopped in time.
These results give the same final amount under the goal difference system: 11-7, 10-6, 5-1, 4-0 and many more. All these scores would give you 4 points.
With the system we normally use for games like this, the final points for the highscore table would be: 103, 94, 49 & 40. Not one tie.
Would it be so horrible to make the goal scoring the most important thing in some games, when its for the best?
Just my opinion.

IMHO a point is a point. In a game, points are all that matters. Someone who loses certainly should not be better than someone who wins. That's my main concern here. Ties don't bother me, the system can handle them.
