It breaks down when his tire (?!) is tagged by that attack bird on level 2. It plays back with great gameplay until then. Total score is 33950.
BTW: Who in their right minds thinks of designing a game whenre you playa laser-beam shooting tire?

try these, they worked for me (at least the last time i tried to play itback)
ym2203opl = no
ym3812opl = no
oplfm = no
samplerate = 11025
i don't think these will help it might be something else, but it's a guess. are you using win98 or win98se or winxp with dos mame?

And, I can't play that back either. Someone with DOS'll have to confirm it.

i'm afraid to say it but i didn't need dos mame to playback this one, this plays back with cli mame and dos mame IF you run it on win98se... this platform incompatibilties between win98 and xp is ridiculous.

That makes two of us who feel that way. If it was recorded in .61, it should play back on all versions of .61.
On a side note, I've gotten a couple I've been unable to playback to work in Kalliera, so I've been trying that before giving up too. It's worked for about 3 that I've been unable to play, including the ten million Tetris Plus 2 recording.
