I have a problem with MAME DOS versions to play Out Run. My sidewinder gamepad is only recognized by the MAME55 version, but the buttons settings for Out Run are not goods ! I use to play this game with MAME32 036 final, and in this version I can define 4 buttons (accelerate, brake, and the two gears) but in MAME55 I don't understand how to pass low and high gears. So, I can't play for the olympiads.

That was changed to be allowed before this request because of a
control issue - the controls were much more different than what I
thought - so any version from mame 36 beta 2 to the latest mame is
permitted now. GB9
