<p>
Are you feeling bored? Can't wait for the Olympiad to start? Well, I would like to invite you to a Tournament I'm running called the Speccy Tour 2001. Yes, we are talking old 8 bits computer here. So, if that is of absolutely no interest to you. Stop reading

<p>
Finally there's a Spectrum emulator that can record/playback games. I've waited for that ever since I discovered that feature on the MAME emulator.
<p>
The tournament is based on the Deca system and runs for 3 months. September to November. Last day to sign up is September the 30th.
<p>
Ten games is involved and I promise you that you know some of them.
Seven of them are coin-ops of Arcade games. To name some of them: Arkanoid, Hypersports and Enduro Racer. Have you ever seen an 8 bit version of Enduro Racer? You might be surprised

<p>
For those of you who know the 8 bit scene, games like Chuckie Egg and Manic Miner will ring a bell. They also take part.
<p>
The only really downer of the tournament is that my website is crap and that I must do it all manually

<p>
So there's only an update every weekend, but you'll get E-mails informing you of new scores.
<p>
I know this will probably be seen as a joke by some of you, but don't say that I didn't invite you my friends. Remember, I'm quite old, I spent my youth in those great days, so don't tease me, when I come to #marp
