How long till the first 2k score ?!?!

With the rate at which the Mame Team is adding new games I think probably in around 6 months someone will be gunning to be the first to get to the 2000 point mark.
)

Six months sounds pretty reasonable, but I think it will take even longer than that. We have 800 games in MAME right now, but will we reach 1600 games in a matter of six months? Of course, someone could get 100 new first place scores after 400 new games or so are added. I guess it all depends on whether one is lucky enough to get that many games that they're good at.

And the other thing to keep in mind is that as a person gets more and more scores, they have more and more scores to actually defend. Heck, I was out of town for a week and look how far I've dropped in terms of points... I need to start re-gaining some of these scores soon.
