I've been playing too much King & Balloon! I've gotten used to being able to take a hit without any ill effects. The funny thing is, I switched to a game of Galaga and was running into bullets thinking, "that's okay, I'll get these buggers as soon as I reappear. Dang, it sure is taking long... awww crap!"

Well, back to scoring points on obscure games. I think I've found a niche. <Evil laugh>

Yeah, if you play too much King and Balloon you get used to taking hits and think it's no big deal... which then screws you up in Galga, Space Invaders or whatever... since there's no option, you've GOT to dodge those bullets! Boy, K&B would be a lot harder if you didn't get infinite "lives".

BTW, great King and Balloon score! I'm working on beating it though. And is it just me, or is the speech that was emulated in m34b3 REALLY annoying? Every 10 seconds it's "HELP! HELP! THAAAANKK YOU!" I'll have to stick with Beta 2 if I'm going to do recordings for that...
