Trying to play this recording back throws a memory access violation for me and crashes MAME. Tried it on a couple of different boxes but got the same result. Playing mt_tetri with wolfmame106 without the recording playback seems to work normally.

Wolfmame 106 says it doesn't work, but clearly it must because there's verified scores on it ;) I tried one game and the controls quit responding after awhile. I also tried his INP and it worked just fine for me:
