This recording playsback (and 364,900 too) the for me to 236,200 with or with out a default nvram file existing

This is curious because it also playsback with -nvram_directory NUL, tar I'm wondering if there is another setting or another file besides eeprom in the nvram/wivernwg directory that is not allowing this to playback for you. I'd also be interested if Barry is not able to play this back, are we back to set A/set B?

must be so 'cause i tried again and still don't get them to work.

tar, if you leave out the -nvram_directory null option, and keep the nvram file there (don't delete mame/nvram/wivernwg/eeprom), and try to playback, do you get the same bad playback score or a different score?

my mame/nvram/wivernwg dir is empty when i start and I am able to playback to 241400, hmm.
