Re: Problems getting Marp pages to load
It's been the past 3-4 days, and yes, it is rather slow. Downloads and static pages work normally, but any scripted page seems to take a minute or two to work. The scripts themselves seem to be running quickly enough, the time taken by Python is displayed at the bottom of most scripted pages. Forum pages are also sometimes, but not most of the time, a bit slow too.

Woohoo! Seems to be working fine for me now - someone must have fixed something! Is anyone else still getting problems?

Too slow, for too long.
How this can be fixed ??

Seymour would be the one most likely to be able to do something about this, haven't seen him around for ages though. I've been meaning to send him a PM, but have been lazy on that.

Zwaxy is also a no response/show. I can't upload new snapshot.zips because I get a
Gateway Time-out
The gateway did not receive a timely response from the upstream server or application.
Not sure why this doesn't happen with regular inp.zip uploads. Maybe because marp has to unzip the snapshots after uploading.

Re: Problems getting Marp pages to load
The scripts are running fine, the times taken to run them (listed in the page footer) seem to be normal. For some reason, they are either slow to be started, or the output is delayed. Static pages and downloads are fine, and the forums are (mostly) fine. Zwaxy currently idles in #marp, doesn't say much.

Re: Problems getting Marp pages to load
Not here. Every single page takes almost 30 seconds to load. Seems like longer, or course, but if you actually time it it's pretty consistently 25-30 seconds. Every page. Been that way for several weeks.mahlemiut wrote:...the forums are (mostly) fine.
Makes it pretty much unreadable.

Re: Problems getting Marp pages to load
The forums are perfectly fine, but we are talking about http://replay.marpirc.net/
Just tried it and it took over ONE MINUTE to load to home page. Almost two months now, yet no one seems to give a $hit

Tried messaging Zwaxy on IRC yesterday, but no response so far. E-mail might work better, so will try to find his current e-mail address.

Not for me, they're not.***PL*** wrote:The forums are perfectly fine...
On two different computers through different ISP's I have been seeing abnormal delays on the forum as well as the rest of MARP.

I've had issues with the forums also, but quite infrequently (which is why I added "mostly"). For the most part, the forums respond normally for me.

Re: Problems getting Marp pages to load
Could be the way you access the forums, because I did notice something unusual this morning!Weehawk wrote:Not for me, they're not.***PL*** wrote:The forums are perfectly fine...
If I use a link specified in an email notification about a prior topic, I click on that link and it does take a while to load and in this case prompted me for UserID & pwd???
However, if I use my bookmark, which I will do 99% of the time, http://forums.marpirc.net/ then it will immediately load the main forum page with no login required!
