I don'nt know when it happened but there was a Rom name change that happend after Wolf106.

I think it should be noted since most people use this verson for both here and TG .

Confusing on which one is which with that verson.

Yes, bwings in 0.106 is now bwingsa in 0.146. Don't know when it was changed, but it was certainly before 0.126, and I can't find any logs of it as far back as the beginning of 2008 (0.121).

Maybe people need to use something that isn't 6 or 7 years old...

Nothing wrong with Wolf106 they just added alot of different slot games and others since then... Changed Roms names that did'nt need to happen .

Only changed to accommodate the two clones added after 0.106. Parent sets are always the most recent version.

0.111u6: Changed 'B-Wings (Japan)' to clone 'B-Wings (Japan old Ver.)' and clones 'Battle Wings' to 'B-Wings (Alt Ver.?)' and 'Battle Wings (alt)' to parent 'B-Wings (Japan new Ver.)'. Renamed (bwing) to (bwingso), (bwings) to (bwingsa) and (batwings) to (bwings).

This said, I've moved pre-0.112 inp from (bwings) to (bwingsa) and added special rules for actual bwings.
Actual bwings should be playable under wolf106 using short name = "batwings" though.

Ah, there we go, changed stupid clone naming to something more sane.

Thats really confusing on which one to use with wolf106 .. If you ask me they play better on Wolf106

batwings is Broken in wolf1o6

There was indeed a problem with bwings getting renamed to bwingsa. I'm having Phil undo the INPs that he moved. All should be OK after that.

what was the problem with the changes?

I don't understand what happened there : all the inputs I've moved from (bwings) to (bwingsa) are again under (bwings).
Plus the special rule I've wriiten for (bwings) is now at (bwingsa).

What do you want me to do, Pat ?
Move the Locutos/Rossi/krf/pacman inputs from (bwings) to (bwingsa) again ?? to swap again ?

OK this is complicated in a couple of ways, but I see what happened. Phil created special rules and INPs got moved and then I made some MAME name changes that impacted everything Phil had done.

I needed to back out the changes Phil made and then apply mine.

Right now what needs to be done is apply Phil's changes as originally intended. That is, create special rules for the new parent and move the pre-m112 INPs from bwings -> bwingsa

Let me do this and then we can test to see if all is good.

I really don'nt know what happened here.. My Inps got moved from the different versons and theres no record of this happening?

I belive the 50k one is in the wrong one now?

I was told in the other post before that the B-Wings was the Alt one in Wolf106? But it was moved to the New Japan Verson? belive this is where the 50k one should be?

If you used MAME 0.112 or later, and used bwings, then it should remain in bwings.
If you used MAME 0.111 or earlier, and used bwings, then it should be in bwingsa.
