turtle ship roms ?

why did the Japan named Rom for this become the USA Rom? What about the Korea one it's not listed anywhere on Marp? Kinda strange i step away for like 2 hours come back and this score has been beaten. The Korea Rom i asked about was added? Same person allready has a first place score in it's place. Whats going on here?

turtshipk has been available since 0.98, it's just no one has been bothered to play it until now (don't really blame them).

Last night there was only scores for Japan verson.. It said there was only one rom set other then that one. That was the USA One.. In which i had never heard of before .
After i posted my comments about the Korea .. It was strangely added and quickly my friend had first place on that one and beat me out of the USA one ... This all happened within 2 hours of stepping away. BTW He had been not playing for like 3 months?
Kinda strange/ Fishy.

Ok let me try to explain this...
The turtshipj romset used to be turtship in older versions of MAME. In version 0.107 a US romset was found and dumped in MAME, so they renamed turtship to turtshipj (and all old recordings on MARP were moved to this romset). MAME tends to try to keep "World" or "Euro" versions as parent romsets for games, failing that, the US version will usually become the parent if no World/Euro version is available, then Japan, then any other territory.
The Korean romset, turtshipk, has been in MAME since 0.98. Like Barry said, it's been there on MARP for many years and nobody had bothered to ever submit a score on it. But see, if you run a search for a game on MARP that has no scores, no results will be listed. But that doesn't mean the game isn't a valid database entry, MARP's search is just setup to not show the games if no scores exist yet. There's no conspiracy here, turtshipk was not added to MARP in the last day or two, it's been there for years and years.
If you want to see which games have database entries, you have to click the "1st" or "Top 3" links on the top frame to bring up the list, like mahlemiut copy-pasted above.
