Maybe this is not the right place to post it, but I know here are the developers of Wolfmess. Is there a Linux version? like xwolfmame?

Yes, you can patch SDLMESS with the provided patches at http://wolfmess.homeactionreplay.org/ There will be some warnings about offsets, but it should compile fine.
