Hi
I usually take care of deleting all odd files around (nvram, etc..) before recording my inps, but I was wondering If Wolf106 is doing that itself.
Does Wolf106 automatically skip these files when recording?
nvram files
hiscore.dat file
memcard files
hi files
diff files
This question come when I realized that recording from the GUI does not need those 4 "move" explicit instructions we can find into the batch file.
And I'm expecially interested in hiscore.dat and memcard question.

Re: WolfMAMEPlus106 automatism
At this point, MAME Plus doing some extra stuff with NVRAM files (ie: changing it to use the folder set for INPs on record/playback) so I wound up just disabling NVRAM entirely. Was part of the reason I dropped using MAME Plus from later versions.

Re: WolfMAMEPlus106 automatism
Noticing: current wolfmame versions don't automatically ensure the recordings and playbacks are safe, the user is forced to use the batch file or make your own to remove the known problem cfg/nvram/memcard/diff files. Why shouldn't wolfmame itself do that inside the exe? Seems possible to have a wolfmame specific option that disables problem files entirely by default and allows them if the option is set (if you want to use them for non record playback purposes like regular mame.) I guess the answer could be the batch file does it a lot better than maintaining an option in a codebase that always changes? Still seems like wolfmame.exe -record game should do the right thing with out having to rely on a batch file if we are talking automatism.
