Why "ugly"? What is wrong with it?

It's probably pretty illegal too. :)

It is fast, TJT. You are right. But the only problem is that there is not a hiscore.dat in this machine. Only in the another two machines.

Guys, what is wrong with it? The cabinet, the sound?? The cabinets of Europe are superior?? I thought you would like it...

These things make me sick, that's really not how MAME should be used, and yes, they're very, very ugly too.

Every one of these that gets used in location, and every coin that you put into them is something that could potentially be used against MAME if a legal case came about as they're helping to destroy the primary business of the arcade manufacturers (selling original arcade games to arcades)

This is the fundamental problem. People can't exploit these games for profit. But, it seems they can't be exploited for free either. The games need to be preserved but if they are preserved in a museum where people can just look at the broken hardware and not play them it seems the point could be mute to preserve them. Will any of these games be played again legally besides in limited license forms? If not why are they being preserved?

Chad, I agree with all that you have told. My intencion wasn´t to show a illegal machine, but how could be nice remember the old and good games on arcade machine.

I don´t know why all of us here have roms. It is a crime, except if we have the original one. Nobody has all machines in our houses or in a shop. Ilegal? I know. But who can tell "I´m right having more than 1.000 roms", if we can not have them free too?

Agreed with Chad...and I don't care if they're illegal, I'd hope to see those things here too.

And Haze, I don't see how mame can be charged because some vendors haven't bought licenses. More probable is they would sue vendors.
If mame would be sued, it probably had happened already. I'm sure game companies are aware of it.

The biggest problem for mame, imo, would be emulating kiddy games...games made after 1990! ;)

And no, I'm not a pokemame...or what was the term again...
