New and some questions, pls look at my manifest.xml for inp

Hello to everyone. I am new to Marp and this site. I have some questions.
  • Will be uploads to marp accepted, if the archive contains other files such as bitmaps (screenshots) and textfiles and xml files describing the record also? I have a standard procedure, which packs everything I need into an archive. Would this be accepted? Or should the archive contain the input file only?
  • Currently, I have Mame and WolfMame at version 0.125 (Windows). Since then, I did not many records (in fact, only a handfull). I am currently not sure if I should update to the newest version 0.130. My problem at updating is, that I have a mass of roms and chd files. They are not all compatible with the newer version, so ... For recordings, would it be better to update or not? What are the pros?
  • Is WolfMame available for Linux or other systems?
  • Why doesn`t WolfMame generate the .wlf file anymore?
I am attaching an example of my newest record archive. If someone would looks in and say something about?^^ All information can be found in the files. If I miss some important information, so please let me know.

A note: I am not a power player, so please don`t be dissapointed if you see anything from me.
Another note: I am new to WolfMame. Before then, I used Mame32 ... and then original Mame with command line interface.

That's perfectly fine. PNGs are often included with INPs in their zipfile.

You can use whatever version you are comfortable with. Most people still use 0.106, mostly for speed (or they're just lazy :))
Mostly when using older MAME versions, you'll have to watch for changes to set names, noting that the MARP database is always based on the most recent major MAME release.

Yes, the source applies cleanly to SDLMAME.
Binaries are available for 32-bit and 64-bit Linux systems at http://wolfmame.marpirc.net/ A version for FreeBSD is also available via the standard repository (I don't use BSD personally, someone else handles that one).

Largely because it was a pain to maintain, and it wasn't entirely as useful as I'd hoped it would be.

The language is german and I had never thought to release it to public. It is not the user friendliest program (its not just a script, it has Guis also). May be I should try to translate it in English. But this is not easy task to me. Complex and some thousand lines of code are waiting...
