I'm not familiar with the specific leeching in this game, the rules say you can't leech until the 3rd round but the leeching in the 3rd round appears just as infinitive as earlier rounds.

flutotal's recording leeches in nearly the same way as Rodrigo but does it in the 2nd round, so i don't see why the rules would say leeching at the 3rd round is ok? The dip switches also allow no bonus lives so the leeching could be fixed in this one.

bbh can you take a look at this game and xxmission, two games potentially worthy of a dip switch ruling for 2009.

This is the thread for the original poll, but I obviously don't think it resolved anything. Only 5 people voted on the poll, anyway.

Maybe it's just me but I find this game very confusing by horizontally scrolling shooter standards, what with all the screen changes that the player can do that completely changes the level / enemy patterns.

Leeching by staying on that one level just shooting those faces shouldn't be allowed, for sure. It's quite distressing that it appears on both rounds 2 and 3 and appears to be possible to do infinitely. What kind of limit should be put in place... if a player winds up in this screen, should they be forced to make progress within a certain time limit?

The other option is to change the scoring system to add rounds clear. Adding a bonus of 1 million per round would certainly add more incentive to make progress in the game. If leeching is still there though, players may still be inclined to leech if nobody is getting past a certain stage. So this might not resolve anything.
