Contra time trial revisited?

OK, I've been pestered on and off over the years about where Destructor's Time Trial was for Contra. I'm afraid that I don't have it anymore. :( It might be on the MARPIRC server somewhere... but I'm not holding out a lot of hope over it.

So... why don't we have a competition to beat Destructor's time? What was it... ah. 4:55.25. Maybe somebody will put some money out to the first person who does it. I wish I could, but I'm afraid that I cannot at this time.

Well, at any rate, this IS just me speaking... and you know how much I suck at organizing events these days... ;)

My time was beated on TG. But I want my replay!!! :cry:

And I think TG times things differently... I think the clock starts when you press the start button.

When we did the time trials, the clock started when you gain control of the character... about 1.5 seconds later in Contra I think.

Wait a minute. Apparently this time was beaten on TG? I assume this video is not online? Probably. Many know my policy on that... if it's not available to the viewing public, it doesn't count.

Now I'm understanding why you want that video. And if I had it, I would give it to you immediately, but I know I don't. :(

I count time for these replays and are far better than mine. I want to watch my replay to compare with these from TG because I don't remember how I play.
