Hi all,

flew in from London to New York last night and will be in Manhattan until the 11th; if anyone is planning to pay a visit to the Barcade in Brooklyn, please let me know a day between tonight and the 10th which could be suitable for a drink and a game of something, I'd probably tackle Frogger (which I know is there ) and Galaxian (if it is there)...

Sorry I missed your post from last week. I would not have been able to make it to NYC. Did you end up going to Barcade?

Did you set any new local records???

I ultimately ended up opting for NBA playoffs on the tv interspersed with dining out with friends - and I'll spend a recommendation for the Italian "Trattoria Toscana" in Carmine Street, formerly "Oreste", which is on par with the best stuff over here

It'll be for the next time, flights are affordable and when accommodation is at no cost, with the current exchange rate EUR-USD New York City is cheaper than Milan... maybe later this year. And when that happens I'll bump this thread

I watched the "making of" footage on the site though - quite cool !
As per the records I hold no hope, the scores there are top-notch (from the thread you pointed me to some time ago)...

As I said not too much time ago, I'm bumping the thread - will land in NY on the late evening of August 5th and should drive down to Jacksonville on the 10th to come back up along with the Springsteen tour but then I'll just get there in time to drop the car in Newark and fly back...

Candidate evenings would be August 6th through 9th then - if anyone thinks they could meet up for a drink and a game, let me know.
