Starting MAME on 107 & up

Hello,
How do you start MAME in version 107 & up?

There used to be and 'application' icon you could double-click to fire up MAME in Windows, but I don't see that now.

When I double-click the 'mame' application file now, I get a message that I need to type it in a command prompt in DOS.

Obviously, I am missing something...

Type "mamep107 romname" in the command line, where "romname" is the name of the ROMset corresponding to the game you wish to play.

There is no GUI for WolfMAME since 107:

Somebody created a hybrid of WolfMAME and MAMEplus:

Rob I don't know if that helped you but when I first discoverd MARP it took me a long time to figger out how to use wolfmame as you need to use the window command prompt and if you are unsure how to use it the explaneation above is not much help as for mame you have type the FULL command line of the location of mame i.e C:\Documents and Settings\blar\blar\blar\mame

The easyest way is to open the command prompt then drag and drop the mame icon onto the prompt screen then press space bar and type the short name of the game you want to play

Hope this helped

You're telling me you've never used the 'cd' (change directory) command?
