Games - Battlantis [battlnts], Hogan's Alley [hogalley]
Duration of Round - November 20th 2006 00:00 GMT - November 29th 2006 23:59:59 GMT
It's been a long, grueling tournament, and now we're down to the final two competitors. Battlantis is Konami's interesting take on the Space Invaders theme, and Hogan's Alley is a simple yet still challenging light gun game. Will Martin win another tournament this year, or can Pat pull off the ultimate upset, going the entire way through the loser's bracket to emerge victorious?
note that Hogan's Alley is a light gun game, be sure to turn off autoframeskip when you record or else playback could break.
GRAND FINALS:
The Pro (10) vs. pat33999 (11)
Best of luck to both of you!

This round is not fair for Pat. He must win in 2 games at once. In system: 5 day for first game and next 5 days for second game Pat could have chance.
Good luck.

sigh... guess what, we've been over this before and I don't want to go through this again. You forfeited the last round, thus this tournament really shouldn't be that much of a concern to you now.
Future posts on this matter will be deleted.

Sorry. I don't want to discuss about it again.
I calculate chances only, it is part of this round. I'm interesting if The_Pro play in final from first day or he has breaktime.

Posted a hogalley inp, anyone else have shots pass through the targets? See inp for details. Don't say it's because the enemy has more hit points

It happens to me all the time, at least once in every recording. I can be dead center on a target, fire multiple shots, and they all miss (see Round 8 of my current recording).

Well at least we're in the same boat.

the calibration does seem a bit off at times in terms of MAME's crosshair. It feels like it's easier to shoot someone by not aiming for the center of the target, but rather more towards the top or bottom of it?

I find going machine gun on the targets helps a bit, but sometimes they just won't die. At least there are multiple lives so it's not too bad.

around 18 hours left! I'm happy to see that the submissions have not entirely been a last-minute affair thus far. :)
