With the Japanese BIOS used, you get a life bar in this game, rather than just a set number of lives you get with the default European/Asian BIOS.
Of course, not getting a scratch kinda negates that difference.
Maybe someone who is more familiar with the game can tell if there are other, more suttle differences between Japanese and Euro versions.
I guess Yumekobo did a Konami.
