Trivia.
This one has been discussed a while back perhaps. But, since I just got through watching the movie "Nightmares" on Universal HD Sunday it got me to wondering if anyone remembers the game that JJ (Emilio Estevez) was such an expert on when he hustled the local Hispanics in their arcade. The final score is so laughable. Great movie (for this part of the 4-part format) for nothing more than to see all the classic titles in their 1983 enviroment. Special kudos to Moon Unit Zappa's brief appearance...it completed the whole atmosphere! Maybe I should post this on the TG forums, too. Hard movie to come by...out of print.

I guess Galaga for #3. I remember some movie where some kid was playing Galaga, but I somehow don't think it was Twilight Zone.

Perhaps the Galaga player may have been in "War Games" with Matthew Broderick playing.
Bishop of Battle is the game that JJ was obsessed with and later became consumed by. There is a scene at the beginning of the segment where JJ hustles money because he is such a supposed hotshot at the game. That's the title I'm looking for.
Hmmm...Twilight Zone. I vaguely remember the segment. I do remember the kid doing away with the adults in his life. Let me think on this one. Or someone else can blurt it out if they wish.
I will probably borrow some of your questions for a TG post if you don't mind, Tommi.

Yep, Afterburner it was.
Well Maximum Overdrive can't be called a masterpiece, but I liked it

Maybe it was cheesy 80's feel, arcade scene, Estevez and AC/DC music. Did I mention AC/DC music already?!
I was on the floor after that scene where the soda vending machine wipes out a bunch of kids.
So you digged it too. That scene is a classic
