First congratulations VERTEX-DAN. I´m play this game for 6 years and I have never seen anybody play so well.
I love how you play this game, is perfect. you lost lives only because you have a little mistakes.
But I saw in replay than when you make 9.900.000 your points back to 9.8000.000 always.
I don´t know if this is a bug of game or the game don´t stop in 9.900.000.
I sugest to Editors than all people than do more than 9.900.000 like VERTEX-DAN did. The record will be change to 9.999.999 or 9.900.000
Now, I will try to do this to :). :)

Thanks JLr. :D
Exactly,I think that 9,826,080 is not an accurate score.
A special rule might be necessary for this game.

How want than when someone do 9.900.000 in flicky, this record be edit to 9.9000.000 or 9.999.999.? because the score in game stay beteween 9.800.000 and 9.900.000 forever.
I vote yes :).

Hard to come up with special scoring...After 9,9M score rolls between 9,8 and 9,9...So it IS possible to count the correct score, but it requires counting how many times 9,9M is broken. A bit tough for playbacker.
Counting rounds does not help either, since "meter" locks at 99.

According to some other games, as Galaga, Tron and whatever where score rolls at 1M, we should just count the correct score at Flicky too...although it is much more more worky at Flicky.
So I'd say that Dan could edit hes score to the correct one.

Nice inp btw. Somehow this one brings to mind words "happy game" :)

I think that the best options are:

1) Final score, as entered into the high score table,
2) The highest score shown in-game,
3) The maximum possible. ie: 9,900,000.

I'd tend to go for either 1 or 3, as they are the easiest to determine.

There's not much diffrence:
1. 9,83M
2. 9,896M
3. 9,9M
...And difference is not "real" (doesn't differentiate correctly scores over 9,9M.)

Are you against for submitting the "correct"(13M) score, because of trouble with having to count when confirming?
I don't think it would be a big trouble, since not so many will break 9,9M.

Good luck counting then.

If it rolled back to 0, then sure, that's easy to follow, but not so easy trying to count up a quick few hundred thousand.

TJT the record is not real, but the leadebord don´t know about it. If I make 9.8900.000 and lost the last live. Are better than Dan. it´s not correct.
I pefer the option number 3 of mahlemuit.

Ok, you can do what you want...But if anybody beat Dan, then just change score to 13M... Good night :)

the reason

That´s the reason of this topic. A special rules on flicky.
If the max point will be 9.900.000 the record of dan will be edited and nobody will beat this record only make the same.

I think 3rd is better.
Or,the maximum value that can be displayed 9,899,990.

I think it's up to you which score you choose to use.

They are all valid options. I was concerned that what if many make max score...will it be one more of those shared 1st places, which should be something to avoid leaderboard-wise and whose-score-is-the-best-wise.
However, if you choose to show the real score of about 13 ? millions, I promise to playback it with pen and paper and to confirm it myself.
