Leeching on stage 2 
(it is possible to shoot birds on the second stage for eternity to max out the score but will not be allowed for marp inputs)

An it seems that 3rd score has leeching issue? he wrote it himself !

I think that you should verify scores with the marp rule of 2002 on the parent and on the clone

I verified again the 1st score and player leech his 1st life and loose, for his 2nd life, he leech a little bit and follow his way but the problem is that in this game, when you leech, you win enough power to beat everything after stage 2

And each life and gold you win give you more bonus at the end of the game

At the end of the game gold is more important then lives. So is better sacrifice lives for golds instead of finish the game with more lives.
A 5 men only limit will solvr the problem (like always).

That's exactly what i noticed and mak some gold at stage 5 is easier with leech at stage 2. I repeat that leech at stage 2 permit to inscrease your power very fast !

For me the only way is to apply strickly the actual rule where leeching is not allowed at stage 2 so game will be harder and gold will increase lower even if stage 5 permit to leech.

In stage 5 you can increase gold when you meet rock monsters (2 times) and when you don't kill the monster at the left of the levelse monsters appears continuously giving bad of money (gold).
Maybe that leech shouldn't be allowed at stage 5 too.

Finally the original system scoring is maybe very bad

Why don't you do it on Time Trial without leeching? It would make the game more difficult to finish without leeching. IMHO!

I have bolded the IMO "ok" inps above.
So, after watching these, I would say that P@team2ch Wardner inp of 3,3M leeches but finishes with same man -which I think would be ok.
If it's not, there won't be many inps left after cleanup.

Yes, timetrial could be best, because finishing game is child's play(pun intended). But someone could ask if the game was meant to be played that way. Not to mention the uprising mutiny from confirmers

(Meaning that some would be against that, I think)
Also note that current rules have been there over 3 years already.

You can leech at stages 2 and 5, but you MUST finish that stage using same man you were leeching with.
(Or try to finish the stage with enough time to do it)

Sorry, I'm late on this one ...
The special rule was made 3 years before just to ban some 9999999 inps with this kind of leeching, but I never watch again the game in details.
Tommi's rule sounds good, it's time for a refresh

Out of the 10 recordings I checked, there were 3 good. They are bolded on list above. Other 2 good ones were one for pyros(drn) and one for wardnerj(drn).

Assumably lower ranked places have more ok recordings, but I didn't playback all recordings for all 3 romsets, just the top ones to get first places sorted out.

I would assume that wardner.zip recordings from drn and bbh are legit (current 4. and 5.), but haven't playbacked them myself yet.

That DRN's wardner recording was ok. I didn't have roms for BBH's older one.

the second position is not valid! He leech until die and leech again to finish the second level.
