We of course are pummeling Tokyo with tornadoes in retaliation:

I heard this guy (Stevens) on the syndicated Coast to Coast AM radio show recently. What a wack-job this nut is. I've visited his website and he seems to be consumed with conspiracy theory mentality. I can't believe that he qualified as a weatherman with some of the statements he makes on his site. Then again, for all we know he's merely a converted sportscaster that just happened to do a crash course in meteorology so that he could get a TV gig. All the strange cloud formations that he shouts about are ones that I've seen long before 1976 at one time or another. What a dork. Bush is probably funding this nutcase so Dubyah's administration can build a case for attacking someone else with assets that he or his buddies could use.

Cool video from Japan. Looks like the local kids got a taste of a common occurrence out here in the desert called dust devils. Like a mini-tornado. Not usually associated with destruction that the real thing causes. Do you get them in AZ very often, John?

I'm in Texas and we don't get them much in this part of the state, but in West Texas they are pretty common.

Ooooh we wish they'd give us an excuse!

Have you ever seen what basketball-sized hail can do to a nuclear reactor?

Well from what I understand the whole of the US Army's 101st Airborne is being deployed to Iraq (wink wink). Looks like ole Dubya isn't even waiting for an excuse this time. Pre-pre-emptive strike?

Oh wait, they're going out to train cops......
