Is Tommis movie available for download anywhere?!

I've often heard him mention his 6-finger-technique and would be interested in seeing it in action sometime......

Cheers,
BeeJay.

It is not downloadable... however if you contact Tommi by PM, I think he will allow you the file. I have here, but please ask Tommi for it.

Maybe not 10, and not ranked, just as they come to my mind :

any Chaplin movie (especially City lights and Limelight)
North by northwest (hitchcock)
Mr Smith goes to Washington (capra)
The miracle worker (penn)
Fly over a cuckoo's nest (forman)
Million dollar baby (eatswood) (sorry, tommi, I found it great)
Raiders of the lost ark (spielberg)
Heat (mann)
Le goût des autres (french movie by Agnes jaoui)
Le clan des siciliens (verneuil)
Les tontons flingueurs (lautner)
Ne nous fachons pas (lautner)

... and many others ;
I LIKE movies

So did 37,5% of imdb voters, gave it 10/10. Got some oscars too... I stick with my opinion still, Rocky was "better"! ;)
I gave Raiders of the lost Ark "only" 9/10, don't know why though.
Hitchcock and Chaplin are allways great!

Have to try find couple films from your list that I've not seen. Might been that have seen them, just don't remember. Translated names are not allways same as original. French names however...

Here are few delicious examples how names change when translated, sometimes translation even changes, started memorising english names few years ago because of that. It's useful to know Finnish names too sometimes, when talking about a movie with friends.

Format:
English name....Finnish name translated

Code: Select all

Shawshank redemption...Rita Hayworth, key to escape

Foul Play...Girl who knew too much
Private Benjamin...Girl who went to army

Every which way but loose...The man from San Fernando
Falling down...A hard day
Graduate...hmmm...test of manhood
Fast times at ridgemont high...hot chicks :)
French connection...hard men
Patriot games...invisble enemy
High plains drifter...whip

Duck you sucker/fistful of dynamite...a fistful of dynamite
emperor of the noth pole...The cruel, the strong, the arrogant :)
Once upon a time in the west...harmonica revenger
