I disagree... the correct is...
Argentina were undone by ALL amazing goals from Brazil...
AL wrote:Can't take anything away from Brazil though. Great stuff. I friend of mine bet 500 Euro on Brazil to win at odds of 11/8. I think he's still in the pub somewhere.....
Your friend... good guy, for sure! By the way... I think all the pub in Argentina are without people last night...

No sure about it... Argentina is one of the best teams today (but Brazil 'destructed' this team ;) ), however in World Cup exist a lot of other good teams... and the things are different... but Brazil still is the favorite IMO.

I forgot it...
MJS... this week was not a lucky week to you, for sure...
In the same day of Brazil 4 x 1 Argentina, your River Plate lost at home to São Paulo (2x3) and is disqualified of "Toyota Libertadores da America". São Paulo will play the final certainly against Atletico-PR (Brazilian too), that won by 3x0 here and will play the 2nd game in Mexico tonight.

To finish... about Brazil X Argentina, the Argentine glory duration was around 3 weeks (since that 'tragedic' 1x3 in the World Cup eliminatories). But if we will need to wait until the Germany's WC, it will be around 1 year of glory... ;) Ok, ok... see you there... :D

Ok, enough making fun of me TRB!
And thanks for reminding me result of River Plate - São Paulo... grrr (that match was like a bad nightmare)

Funny you didn't mention we beat you by 2-1 last tuesday, leaving you out of the World Youth Championship.
We have to play the final match against Nigeria on saturday... I have no idea how good is Nigeria nowadays, but I have confidence in our young boys

Yeah... African youth players are good today.
Hmm... I remember one Championship... (maybe 1996 Olympiads) that in the Semi-Finals Nigeria beat Brazil, and beat Argentina in the Finals. Do you remember something like it? Caution!!!

And, having failed at every true athletic endeavor known to man, he finally took up bowling.
