Reward: $50 (usd)
Deadline for submission to MARP: June 10, 2005 2359 hours GMT
Further Bounty: an additional $50 for exceeding 200,850 points this week
(Claimed by destructor@HotTeam.pl 6/8/05 0920 hrs GMT)
Time for another Asteroids-genre game.
Good information about the game is available in the Operator's Manual.
The further bounty is based on the Twin Galaxies record on the arcade machine set by Tony Vandecar in 1983. The settings are supposed to be factory default, but the manual linked above does not specify what they were. The MAME TG settings are listed as 3 lives to start - 5 nukes. It should be noted that the score they list by Mark Boolman, assuming it is the same one at MARP with the same score, was NOT played on those settings.
For this week, including the further bounty, we will use MAME's defaults, 4 lives to start - 7 nukes. (the nukes are not separately selectable - you start with twice the number of starting lives minus 1).
Use WolfMAME .96
"On Deck" game: Time Pilot
