am I right in assuming the stage 5 bug only applies to this set, not SDI?

if so can somebody provide a regular mame inp to where the problem starts. The rom is known to be faulty so there may be an obviously bad part in it, however, I can't check this as I can't get that far in the game easily.

Yes you're right? the bug only applies in this set (i don't play at the sdib).

I haven't regular mame, only mameplus and wolfmame but i could try to download it and play for you

yes, please do a recording in normal mame, i'm not sure how well an inp would convert in this case.

I suspect there will be another single bad bit in the roms somewhere causing it, maybe it will be possible to trace it down and patch it until we have a better dump but I make no promises

I am surprised cos this time, the bug applies in stage 1 and many times in stage 3 - 4 - 5 ...

When the spaceship block, i found a way to unblock :
if it block with up, i go down-up-down-up... and it unblock
if it block left, i go right-left-right-left... and it unblock
...

I play with keyboard to move spaceship and mouse for laser

During the loading of rom it says :
