MegaTech - FreePlay

Post by kranser »

How do you record MegaTech games as 'FreePlay'?

The default is 3.00 minutes, and you need to press [F3] to reset after changing the time to FreePlay. So, if we need to remove the .CFG & NVRAM files before recording, how is the FreePlay setting achieved?

Thanks,
Kranser.

It's a DIP switch, so you only need to leave the .cfg. I don't seem to remember the system using NVRAM either (it's been awhile :)).

If the .cfgfile is kept, I guess this should be included in the submission; otherwise, others may have problems playing back. Correct?

It shouldn't matter, it mostly contains key configurations/DIP switch settings. As DIP switches are input ports, they are also written to the INP anyway. But there's no harm in including it, just to be safe.
