I think growl [runark] now actually playsback with sound, well if not, it's always worked when recorded out sound. yeah, no gegotw (or any other tournament) games allowed as potentially warned before, that's what i get when trying to be respectfull.

Kranser hardhead2 will be allowed. thought it was a set#. Still can't find 4in1semi-nh (but am only looking in mame95 and find 4in1boot) was this a mame94 or earlier gamename?

only ~10 hours more to vote for games.

Thanks Chad for allowing hardhea2.

Checked 4in1semi, and the game is actually 3in1semi game nh (New Hyperman), sorry for the confusion. This is the same game as 4in1boot - Hyperman, but the 3in1semi version has world title screens, so is preferable.

Kranser.

I like GROWL, but I tried it around 2 months ago (around wolf91), and I had playbacks problem (I tried only with sound).

as is sf2 (the sf2ce variety) and kingofb, i'll have to gather some names of current tournaments i think joust was competed in recently and perhaps others.

*EDIT* yes joust was in GEGOTW last year in march, so joust is not allowed or allowed, what ever JTC wants allow or disallow so he can keep doing what he does.

Wops... I remember you voted for it, but I thought was DS1 (dstlk) and not DS2 (nwarr)... So I change it to dstlk.

I don't understood... well... if one of my previosly posted games is disallowed, so include it: blktiger.

dstlk is pretty similar to nwarr so i wouldn't allow it besides and the time is over for voting. But i will not run the random choice until i know if jtc will allow me to include gegotw games (actually there is more than just joust.) The marp tournament was setup to intice competition that other tournements weren't enfocing so it's actually geared to disallow all tournament games where ever they were competed at (olympiad/knockout...) for at least a few years.

I first made the comment `I'm tempted to exclude "golden era" used games but i probably will allow them', because they are a tournament they must first be considered to be excluded. The marp tournament is not here to repeat what other tournaments do; it's to enlighten *all* the games of mame. But IMHO, gegotw represent all of what mame is trying to do: preserve games that will never be seen in arcades again, the most likely of those are the older ones. So, i said i would probably ALLOW them.

Then JTC says `I assume this refers to my "Golden Era Game of the Week" challenge, and I would protest this in the strongest terms possible. ' I took this as you were protesting to my ALLOWING them. But now, taking into consideration that you ONLY quoted my exclusion phrase and you voted for the games, i will allow them and thus not exclude joust and the others. Random games coming shortly.
