A great game forgotten in Mame ?

Post by sawys »

Hi !

French people remembered a great game which seems not to be in the mame game list :

Monaco GP

It was a real great game in the arcade in the 80's.

If someone can contact the mame team

The game does not use a main processor. Supposedly it is entirely logic gates.
Not that I'd necessarily trust anything KLOV says... :)

en fait si, mais il a été retiré parce que c'est un jeu qui n'utilise pas de CPU (comme PONG) et donc on ne peut plus parler d'émulateur mais de simulateur.

par contre il est supporté dans MAME Plus et donc dans WolfMAME.

I had this across the road from me in the legend that was "The Olympia" amusement arcade. I always wandered what happened to this and the other old games they had in there (Boot Hill etc) when it closed in the early 90's. It was a real arcade museum.

Another game I would dearly love to see in mame is TX1 http://www.klov.com/game_detail.php?let ... e_id=10004

It was kind of like Pole Position but with three screens creating a kind of panoramic view. Played in the same way as Out Run, over about five stages if I remember correctly.

No doubt it's a nightmare to emulate correctly.
