Ram checking application?

Somewhere for the annoying and/or off-topic threads to go. Feel free to post about whatever, but abuse will still be dealt with, and possibly with more force. Especially pac-porno. ;)

Ram checking application?

Post by QRS »

I'm looking for a program that checks the RAM modules in a PC. Not a RAM booster or error checker. I just need a program that can tell me if this is a DDR 512 or an sdram 256 etc. Maybe comparing different prestanda of the RAM modules in my PC, telling me what kind of RAM modules the mother board supports etc. Any hints? The reason for this is that I have a few modules that are labeled sdram AND DDR.... Weird, yes, but its a fact :)

Some RAM vendors have small utilities for download that can do this.

Or you could use SiSoft Sandra (http://www.sisoftware.co.uk/)
