When is the Japanese-style-smilie fad going to die? I hate them on western web forums!

You're in Finland, it's winter so chances are it's always dark.......... why wouldn't you be drunk under those circumstances...... {;-þ)

That's obvious...... because it never actually gets dark you never get the visual cue that it's time to have some evening drinkies so nows always as good a time as any....

PS: I'm sad to admit that when we did our tour around Denmark, Sweden and Norway we didn't take the time to check out Finland while we were at it..... but given the cost of the three we did I think we would have run out of money to buy food before we got through much of Finland.
