In dipswitches mame36beta8 I see:
Bonus Life - 30000 70000
Difficulty - Easy
In dipswitches wolf78 I see too:
Bonus Life - 30000 70000
Difficulty - Easy
In dipswitches wolf89u6 I see:
Bonus Life - 50K 100K 100K+
Difficulty - Normal
Which settings are default? Maybe better write default settings to Special Rules.

I agree, about writing special rules for gberet.
Yes, dip switches were changed at mame version 0.80
Green Beret scores are what I call "matured" scores MARPwise, meaning they're old and much competed. It shouldn't matter, for MARP, if mamedevs change dipswithches every beta release...
Watched couple top scores, both are played on old settings: difficulty-easy, bonus life-30k,70k. MARP 6th(Ciumek) uses current new settings. Robert's recording is done with TG settings, as expected
So my suggestion is, we ignore new tougher settings...by allowing use of old easier settings AND TG settings. If somebody wants to use new, harder settings, well, that's "a heroic effort"

This way we don't have to delete any recordings.

Special Rules as:
Old, easier dip switch settings can be used:
Bonus Life - 30000 70000
Difficulty - Easy
Or TG settings:
Bonus Life - 30000 70000
Difficulty - Normal

OK?
"Bonus life -30000 70000" means that you get bonus life at 30k, 70k...and every 70k thereafter.

I guess all settings are ok then? Actually, it will be so!
Seriously though, I agree with Tommi.

Hehe...Yeah!
It sounds a bit better to list those settings though

Special rules added
...So you can use old settings and TG ones.
