II. Election Procedures

A. Nominations:

1. Nominations of regulation, tournament, and knockout coordinators will last from November 15, 00:00 GMT to November 21, 23:59 GMT. 

I hope gameboy9 will forgive me for announcing this before him, but let's please carry out the election procedures in a timely manner this year.

I decline any nominations in advance.

I have been honored to serve MARP in the capacity of Regulation Coordinator this year, but the sad truth is that MAME (and therefore MARP) offer over 5000 games now, and I have absolutely zero interest in about 4800 of them.

The position would be better filled by someone that cares much more than I do what scoring system is used in the myriad Mahjong games, or what special rules should apply to the latest fighting game.

I have enjoyed immensely the series of weekly challenges in the Golden Era Game of the Week, and am considering much grander plans for supporting competition on the games of the golden era. Perhaps next year will bring major development of what are now only partly baked ideas. Wait and see.
