I thought it was 18m, don't know for sureLordGaz wrote:Doesn't play back for me. Did you really use mame83? Better to use Wolfmame then no one will suspect slowdown, autofire usage or pausing mid-game and such. Just to be safe use Wolfmame for MARP.
Interesting that if you leave this inp to run you can see what you need to qualify on the later rounds, for example:
Round 6 to qualify:
Swimming 45s
Skeets 4800
Horse 9.80 (16 turns?)
Archery 4200 (5+ nices)
Triple Jump 19.00m
Weight Lifting 225Kg
Pole Vault 5.95m
Round 7 was the same.
I'm curious, what would your score be for that 439k(no nvram) game if you used the same nvram file that you had for the 464,940 game?dskys wrote:464940 - using NV (like tommi) I still have my 439 no NV recording if this gets zeroed but come on guys, give us a break... Wanted this for so so long

Doesn't Wolfmame discard nvram information when playing and recording anyway?
What I did when I was recording 720 play several times...Was to make a simple *.bat, which I run before recording:Chad wrote:The seriousness about this problem is if you include an nvram created after the recording you've potentially lost the nvram you had before recording and thus the inp you made could NEVER playback, so if it was a good score you just wasted that game... of course perhaps you've taken a precaution of making the nv file non readable.
HS is set to erase records on exit. Whether it's a bug in WM I don't know but it doesn't update the NV anyway when recording - ie i record another game straight away and the nv is back how it was. So would it matter whether it's from before or after? Incidentally, it's the latter, but I can still play it back so...Chad wrote:dsk, i think you fell into the trap the nvrams lead to and it's why we care about banning such substances as much as possible. You probably copied the nvram file that was in the nvram directory after recording thus having potentially changed the nvram file that WOULD have made your recording playback.
I can't playback your recording with or with out the nvram included (this is the 2nd strike i presume), since no one else has verified it does playback. Did you include the nv file that existed BEFORE making the recording or AFTER?
The seriousness about this problem is if you include an nvram created after the recording you've potentially lost the nvram you had before recording and thus the inp you made could NEVER playback, so if it was a good score you just wasted that game... of course perhaps you've taken a precaution of making the nv file non readable. But it's a little strange that two people can't playback your recording with the nvram provided.
Note: Gaz this is a wolfmame recording not a regular mame recording but i can't play it back fully either way.
