Yes, Sawys make a great work. Originally, I'd make a weekly update with the old system for see where are each jvrm players in marp. but with the new one, I found it was not also funny than before for make the update. So, Sawys make his calculator machine on the road
But, I guess the old good page is somewhere in the web

Because, if in 1, 2 or ten years we want to return at this system. The page will be usefull
PS : for the link beside HOOOONNNNK HOONNNKK I DRIVE A FIRE TRUCK, i've only one thing to said :
Excellent joke, in the montypithon style

Who is under the player(s) of these LOL page ? You Tar ? Rick ? BBH himself ?

Well, leaderboard seems to have changed a bit now. Olympic style is no longer a text file, there are links for 1st 2nd 3rd places. It seems to be updated every now and then, maybe every half hour. WRX2 is still listed.
Zwaxy finally got hes Linux connection working?

Thx
There are more...

A question about S.T.U.N. Runner...I wonder if there are any Japanese replays somewhere. It seems to me that finishing the game will be around 700-800k. Gamest record is 1177k, how is that possible? I know there is one warp, but using warp gives less points than not using it. Maybe there is difference between romsets or difficulty settings, or some secret tricks...For example shooting multiple 10k ships at last stage.
BAD replay uploaders are....

Dare not say

I see it now. You have to be logged into marp for some reason. If you don't login you see the old one.

Ok, with some luck, it should work now if you're not logged in.

I don't think I like this standing....I've dropped 17 places....
Well...actully....I don't understand on which basis points are calculated....is it the old LB, with the 100 points, and down proportionally, minus a 10% each position, etc etc etc....?!?
BTW....could someone explain me briefly (or addressing me to the related topic) about why the LB has changed once again...?! (sorry, but I've been away quite for long time...
Thanks...

It's termed "Olympic" style even though it doesn't really follow the Olympic style leaderboard they tracked in the USA for the recent Olympics.
Anyway, it's all based on #places.
..with 1st place taking top priority, then second places, 3rd, etc.
so someone with 10 first place scores and nothing else will be listed above someone with 9 first place scores, 500 second place scores and 750 third place scores.
It means the only way to move up really is get more first place scores. Second and lower mean little to nothing in regards to the leaderboard.
"Points" mean absolutely nothing with the new leaderboard.

Hi Cicca,
You find the LB discussion and votings under "regulation play" -page 2.
(but not sure if u wanna go there :)
On the positive side of the things...Notice that you can rise 48 positions at LB with submitting 8 first places. And you can not be dropped by somebody submitting loads of 5th place recordings. Atleast this system should make competition for 1st places tougher.
LN2, I might be wrong at this... but I think recent olympics were in Athens...and they did rank countries there according with same system marp lb currently does...number of golds first etc. Atleast I saw such listings at tv.
Nothing new I could say about this subject though :o/

I see the same thing than you Tommi in the french TV reports. Maybe in US reports its not the same ranking system...
