These 2 inpa clearly use pause (look at the end of hands when
they guess images, no way one can do it so quickly)

In my opinion all mahjong inp should be recorded with wolfmame or
other builds that dont allow pause. Pause is great advantage in
mahjong and this game even greater.

and yes this look very strange when he shot birds with hats. I think this is impossible without pause, but maybe here is some trick?

For me all inps (not mahjong only) should be recorded with wolfmame (and maybe with alpha too). But some inps are very old and very good recorded with standard MAME. Personally I never use pause for my inps.

Sadly, I believe there are a lot of recordings at MARP achieved through slowdown, pausing, etc.. which will never be beaten by anyone playing legitimately.

There seems to be little that can be done about it.

I think these 2 inps must be zeroed/deleted. But maybe wait for Phil (and maybe Donut too) answer.

I'm only at home for a few hours (holidays not finished).
I always used alpha or wolf mame since they exist (for mahjong or other games), but I admit I played before several mahjongs with normal mame and sometimes used pause (mainly to note scores -which are not automatic- and so avoid to playback inp, or to take some notes for my mahjong page -especially concerning options).

I don't remember this game very well ; I will have a look and try to improve with wolf and/or will erase this one ; but I will only do that in september because before :
