how is this 10 million bonus done exactly, aside from stretching a fight into a 4th round with a Draw or Double KO? I don't think anyone else here knows about the bonus, I've never heard about it. (although it would certainly explain that one obscenely high Gamest score.)

i think any drawn out fighter round bonuses are legal, as long as they are difficult to do. most of these bonuses i've seen (i.e. one) require much skill in the game to know how much the other player can hurt you to get hurt "in the right way" to get the bonus, and that definitley is action arcade worthy IMHO.

agreed, there was a Japanese SF2 recording I saw somewhere (might've been off MAMENAVI before it went down) where the player stretched out just about every fight to the full 10 rounds (SF2 World Warrior was the only one that went up to 10 rounds instead of 4). I thought it was crazy that he knew the AI so well he could get the Double KO EVERY time... it's a LOT harder to do than it looks, that's for sure.
10 million on Fatal Fury 2 is a huge amount of points that destroys any score you can get even by getting double Perfects on each stage. So I'd like to know more about this trick first...

for me is legal, because is very difficult obtain 10.000.000 pts for round.
the way for 10.000.000 pts is very difficult pattern. However the technique work with Big bear and Kim only.

Please upload the replay so we can see it. I also wouldn't mind seeing 40M+ on donpachj, if you have some extra time.

It's hard to judge the legality of a trick if we have no idea of how it's done. So please upload it somewhere (MARP will do fine, just ignore Rick if he bitches about it.

)

As expected some players know about this trick.

Is there any descriptions of this technique anywhere that you could post, or perhaps post a description yourself?
I've tried searching myself, and gotten nowhere. Lack of japanese language skills probably doesn't help.

Ok, I have (finally) been told about this trick - and personally, I don't see any reason for it to be disallowed.

my only concern is that if one person can pull the trick off, then nobody else will be able to compete with that score unless they use Bear or Kim and can manage to do the trick too. Unless there's some other trick to it that I'm missing, it seems EXTREMELY difficult to do...

it seems that you have to throw Billy Kane (9th opponent) when the timer hits 00 with either Big Bear or Kim. If you time the throw perfectly, it awards 10,000,000 points instead of the usual 1,000 points.
Even with savestates it's difficult to get close enough to land the throw at the perfect timing.

Sounds ok to me
