You can't request CHDs. Don't want to have to change hosts again now, do we?

Wedding Rhapsody runs fine on an AthlonXP 3000+ - but it does use any 3D.

Raiden Fighters doesn't work, either.

I should have added words "private message", thought that would be obvious. Anyway I know atleast one place to get them, but connection there is too slow.

Does that hyperathlete work then?

Still can't request them.

And yes, I think Hyper Athlete does work.

How would you know

Anyway, my understanding is that even though this is internet, editing somebody else's writing to something he didn't write is a big no-no, atleast legally.
...A decent joke though 8O

Uh..no...the moderator didn't do any such thing. Maybe one of the administrators did.

My understanding is that when you post to a moderated forum, you accept that your post may be edited....especially if it breaks the forum's rules!

If you can't accept this then don't post.

Problem solved.

Yes, I understand if post is being edited, something removed, if it's not in accordance with forum guidelines.
But if something is added in person's post, then I see copyrights being broken.

Many thanks for the solution,

TJT

P.S. I was not asking for roms, but I see that chd's are related to those.
Anyway, to not being able to ask for game images somehow is double morale, you use them anyway.

From the forum registration agreement:
You agree that the webmaster, administrator and moderators of this forum have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should they see fit.
Barry saw fit to edit your post in that manner.

If you would like to rescind your agreement to the above, perhaps he or seymour could "unregister" you.

You could still read the forum of course, you just wouldn't be able to post any more.

I can not remember what agreement said when registering here. Also I don't see anywhere mentioned that asking chd's is not ok.
Putting links for roms here is understandably wrong, because romlinks are being sometimes shutdown.

Maybe laws there are different than here. If I sign a paper that gives you right to kill me...are you then legally free to kill me without consequence :?
Whatever agreement said, it is WRONG to put words in somebody's mouth.

I thought it was somewhat funny joke from Barry, as I said. I also said that adding sentences to somebody's post is not ok...in principle...you get it? ...Issues fighting not men. You are making a too big thing out of this, I'm not going into court about that, hehe.

To talk about canceling rights to post at forum, or alternatively stop to post here is not very nice approach to subject. I've been at Marp forum for ages.

...And to add... My intention was not to have any kind of controversy with my original post, just was happy couple of ok games were added.

ROMs contain game code and/or data. CHDs contain game code and/or data. I don't see how anyone can think CHDs are ok to ask for when ROMs aren't.

Almost as bad as those that think that a BIOS dump is somehow magically different from any other ROM.

My ability to comprehend isn't the problem here.

I'm just saying if you can't abide by the rules we have all agreed to, you have the option of getting the hell out.

How long have you been such a jerk?
