Unfortunatley his donpachi recording has slowdown potential, even Hisa knows that. It's even in the description by the uploader. It's a great recording and he could proly do just about as well at 100% but most likely not recorded at above 90% speed. I think, the slowdown detection was on the borderline so it wasn't zeroed, and wasn't out of respect for a cool appricative thread that was started.

I think he means that the emulation is slower than the real machine. I've been told DDP is faster in recent MAME versions than it was back then.

could be as well, but since the slowdown detection was borderline, and not "free & clear", there's something other than emulation speed going on with the inputs of that recording at least.

***** Notice ******

I created this topic as a split from the leaderboard vote discussion as we were straying a bit too far from the topic there.

Also I just wanted to test the splitting feature as I had never done it before.

good job of spliting! i always move my Playbackability splits to General (forgeting to check which group it's split to!) and then seymore/mahl have to fix it.

do you beleave me john?
Sure, I believe you. You probably know NAL, NAI, and WTN for the 700M players. :D There are a few other players who could score 700M, or have scored 700M, but I haven't heard about them. I won't try to name 30 players who can score 600M. I believe you could. :D
