I would lean toward requiring that the dip switch be set to not grant the "repeat bonus", meaning you'd get one extra life, and then no more - and letting the player do as he chooses with his limited men.
Discussion please.
I will email the players with the top two scores (who racked up lots of points doing this) on the game and invite them to participate.

It's not as clear cut as one might think. There's certainly nothing wrong with getting as many enemies as possible before proceeding...and of course if you happen to die before the level ends and start over, you'd do it again. But to do it deliberately over and over infinitely would constitute leeching in violation of Rule 2 and, in my opinion, spoil competition on the game. Who is to say what is deliberate?Weehawk wrote:There is a spot on that level where you can stun a bunch of enemies in one spot and then grab the energizer to kill them. You have to die to repeat it, but since you get enough points to earn an extra life it could go on forever.
In all fairness to Sampras it actually looks like he's trying to finish the level each time after doing it, but doesn't.
If we wanted to continue competition on this game in a more traditional fashion, we could probably just set the dip switch to not grant the "repeat bonus".
