apologies.

I meant to add that I have a keyboard already and was interested in using an arcade stick type

Maybe the 6 button variety

I have a microsoft wingman w/force feedback.
too bulky
I do not use it.

I would love to have arcade style control panel.

you will get more responses soon.

Hi Jaybo,

There's no best controller as such, it's mainly down to personal taste or the type of games you want to play.

I find a keyboard is more than sufficient for most games. I sometimes use a Microsoft Sidewinder joystick and I also have an N64 controller which is very good for a lot of games.

If you're looking to build a cabinet though the above information is pretty useless.

If you're looking for a decent arcade stick...i wouldn't go with the x-arcade style stick...it's not accurate enough with certain movements...and it gets damn frustrating while playing fighting games...

the joysticks on these cabinets are excellent...

I'm hoping i can afford to get one from my arcade sometime soon... *drools over astrocity*...yeah anyway...

I've been told this is a great arcade controller...

i should get one...considering i'm in australia... shipping cost is steep for other countries...but people say it is well worth the money.

If you do a forum search for "joystick" there is some good info here already :)

Gamerya - I bought a spinner from Oz Stick and their service was superb. I received it in two days and I'm in England!!

I've got an 'Oz-Stick Ultimate ' . Better than Hotrod IMO .
And great service . Lucky for me that the Australian Dollar is weak compered to the Euro .
