greetings everyone, nice forum! here is my question: there was an arcade game that i used to play
back in the 80's and i can't remember the name of it. maybe someone here will know?
i'll do my best to describe the game the way i remember
it. it was a space shooter similiar to galaxian and galaga except
the enemies would take hostages. if you shot the enemy without
hitting the hostage, the hostage(s) would then appear at the right
of the screen and you would hear the words "Lucky" everytime you
saved a hostage. if you know the name of the game i would really
appreciate the info!

I don't know. I asked in #marp and somebody suggested The End (theend). I also thought you might be thinking of King & Balloon (kingball) but it doesn't really fit your description.

Both those games involve the enemy stealing stuff, but I don't think either one is the one you're looking for.

thanx for your reply zwaxy. yeah neither one of those sound familiar. i believe the game came out in '83 or '84. another thing i remember about the game was that the hostages would wave their arms up and down in the right of the screen every time you heard "Lucky". it was a very cool game, wish i could find it
