USGames - Archive?

How would people feel about archiving these? Most of the trivia variations have already been maxed, maybe half the gambling ones have, and I can't imagine it will be too long before the rest follow.

Maybe keep the brick breaks and reflex testers, if people want--or even one of the gambling games if its random and suitably hard--but c'mon...

Just an idea,

I agree. If those games are too easy to max out etc. I have poor knowledge of those games though... Are all of them easy or is there real hard ones too?

The trivia ones, they can be EASILY maxed... you just have to have patience... since essentially all the maxed scores are just people randomly hitting buttons as fast as possible and lucking out...

A lot of the card games [save for Red Dog Poker] are a B*TCH to max out... believe me... I've been trying my damndest to catch up to "Mrs. Donut"... it isn't easy.. a lot of it is PURE LUCK... and Rush Hour... don't get me started there...

The trivia games archive if so be it... the others? Leave em alone... save for Red Dog Poker... a bloody easy 100 [not that many have done it thankfully]

Frankly, other then Mr. Krol playing through a ton of them lately, they haven't had much interest since last summer either... save for my updating my scores....

Just my 2 cents...

Red Dog Poker can be archived - it's far too easy.

The non-time based trivia ones are a simpleton's paradise.

The time-based trivia ones have no skill level, if you take time to even scan through the question & answers, you will not get a max score. Key-hitting is the only way that I can see for this to occur.

None of the other card games are easy. I've spent many hours before maxing out the ones I have and many hours not maxing out the others. There are some tricks to it. Some are easier than others, however.

Craps and slots can be maxed out, but are not trivial - it's a time-based thing, I've discovered. :)

The Wizard of Words seem as though they will eventually max out, but no-one is even close to that yet.

Chariot Race is just plain luck. A particular minimum is possible as pointed out in one of Phil Lamat's entries, but higher than that has already been achieved & maxing out is possible but has not yet been achieved.

Rush Hour and the Breakouts are competitive and should not be archived.

That's the thing.

MARP is supposed to be about SKILL...not luck...so I would think based on that premise all games where the scores involve a lot of luck...perhaps a little skill but mainly luck...should be archived.

The worst culprits are the people who play the Japanese quiz games not having a clue whats going on. They just press random buttons and submit their recording.
I think it's save to say that a lot of the recordings for Japanese quiz games on MARP are played by people who don't understand Japanese.
